Full Spectrum
Infrared Sauna

Turn Up the Heat & Enlighten Your Health

Experience the benefits of the sun's healing rays with our full spectrum infrared sauna. Infrared sauna uses light to create a gentle, radiant heat that warms you like the sun, but without the dangers of UV rays. The near, mid and far spectrum infrared waves penetrate deep within you, promoting relaxation, detoxification & a host of health benefits.

What is the Infrared Difference?

Traditional steam & dry saunas use heated air to warm the body, which means they must get uncomfortably hot to reach therapeutic levels. Infrared rays are absorbed into your skin directly, causing the body to radiate heat from within at a lower, more comfortable ambient temperature. The absorbed heat causes sweating & an increased heart rate -- similar to what you might experience during moderate exercise.

Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna Benefits

Cardiovascular Health

Brain Health & Cognitive Function

  • Research shows that infrared sauna stimulates growth of new brain cells & protects existing neurons. This enhances the ability to learn & retain new information, and relieves some forms of depression & anxiety.
  • Other studies show that regular sauna use increases levels of prolactin, which helps your brain function faster, and boosts norepinephrine levels, increasing focus & attention.

Chronic Pain Relief

Metabolism & Weight Loss

Stress Relief & Relaxation

Anti-Aging & Longevity

  • NASA studies show near infrared rays promote cell regeneration, allowing your body to heal & recover more quickly.
  • Long-term studies in Europe also showed
that regular sauna users experienced enhanced longevity & lower risk of death
    than non-sauna users.
    .

    Skin Health
    & Rejuvenation

  • Described as "exercise for the skin," infrared sauna improves blood flow & delivers nutrients to the skin. It also purifies the skin, removing toxins & debris.
  • Near infrared rays promote collagen & elastin production, improving skin tone & elasticity and reducing fine lines & wrinkles. They also promote wound healing and kill acne-causing bacteria.

Detoxification

  • Perspiration is one of the body's natural ways to purify itself. Infrared heat penetrates deep within the body & produces a detoxifying sweat that rids the body of 7 times more toxins than a traditional sauna.

What To Expect

Your Sauna Appointment

Sauna sessions are typically 30-45 minutes. We recommend that you book an appointment, though walk-ins will be accommodated if possible. You can book online here, through the MindBodyOnline app, or by phone.

The sauna will accommodate up to 2 or 3 people, so you can enjoy the experience as a couple, or with friends. We will, of course, only book more than one person in the sauna at your request! Please call if you would like to book the sauna for more than one person.

Preparation

Please make sure you are hydrated! We encourage you to drink plenty of water before, during and after your sauna session. (We have bottled water and a water cooler available here.) You should also consider removing makeup, lotions & oils from your skin, to allow the infrared rays to penetrate your skin more effectively.

When You Arrive

We'll answer your questions and ask you to sign our consent/waiver form. We'll escort you to the sauna suite, and review basic instructions. We provide towels and a towel wrap -- you can wear the wrap, a bathing suit, or other loose-fitting clothes if you prefer. Keep in mind that exposing your skin to the infrared rays will maximize your results. Please remove your footwear before entering the sauna.

While You Sauna

You can connect to our bluetooth stereo to listen to your own music, choose from our selections, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

You can also read or use your phone or tablet in the sauna if you wish. Social media check-ins are encouraged!

After Your Session

We encourage you to relax for a few minutes before leaving the sauna suite, and to continue drinking lots of water!  We also recommend not showering immediately after your session, as your body is still experiencing detoxification benefits for up to an hour after your session.

You should not use the infrared sauna if you:
